Stool with decorative nail heads by Otto Schulz for Boet, Gothenburg, Sweden

Stool in Art Deco style by the German-Swedish designer and publisher Otto Schulz. The stool from the 1930´s is in original condition with a cover in leather and upholstery in velvet. The decoration is created with Schultz typical "Bopoint" technique of roundheaded nails. A feature that gave his furniture their very own character and style.

Schulz (1882-1970) moved to Sweden as early as 1907 where he founded a business specialized in exclusive interior decoration. A few years later he began to design his own furniture and opened his own warehouse in Gothenburg called Boet. Schulz also published his own interior design magazine named after the warehouse.
